Last semester, my classroom was in the Von Kleinsmid center on campus, which is the building with the big globe on top. Among other things, VKC also houses the political science department (and I think the international policy and relations department, as well). My hope is that, in years to come, we’ll realize even more how important international diplomacy is for our globalized society.

Not necessarily how all Americans see the world.

I believe, but am not certain, there are bells in this tower. All I really know is that it is certainly the most distinctive feature of our campus.

You can see the world from just about anywhere. Just look up.
